To be KCSsm Verified the product must demonstrate it has 90% of the functionality outlined in the KCS Verified Criteria [.pdf].

The fact that these products have achieved the KCS Verified designation does not relieve the buyer of doing due diligence on the product functionality. In particular, buyers should be sure to understand the products functionality for authoring and searching and confirm that the vendor's approach will support the buyer's needs.
